about

Every night when I go to bed, I bring my guitar with me and try to strum myself to sleep. Sometimes something comes of it and sometimes not. One evening, right around the time of Haiti earthquake, this song appeared to me before the lights went out. When I woke up the next morning to remember it, I was startled by the connectedness the lyrics had to people living in hard times and need. I wouldn't say I wrote this song specifically for the aforementioned event, but it is an earnest dedication to the many lives across the globe that are yearning for a helping hand and open arms. May peace in this world be with you.....

Please share this song with others!

lyrics

"In The Hour Of Need"

Hold my head up
I can't make it
Eyes to blind to see
Take this land
And hold its hand
In the hour of need

Stars are falling
in the distance
Streets are filled
with greed
Please don't let us
Lose our patience
In the hour of need

Say your prayers
You never know which angel
Might be standing there
Over you and me
In the hour of need

Say your prayers
You never know which angel
Might be standing there
Over you and me
In the hour of need

When this cruel world
shows no pity
Plant your faithful seed
Love is marching
To the city
In the hour of need
